Our climbing course is perfect for beginners and everyone who climbs indoors, but lacks the sufficient knowledge or confidence to go climbing outdoors on their own.

​But our camp is not just about climbing! It is about the love for outdoors and active lifestyle, it is about the people you meet, it is about the passion to explore. We aim to deliver a great experience to everyone, no matter how good you are at climbing. CLIMBING COURSE

Our climbing course is aimed towards beginners, but is also perfect for people who would like to transition from indoor to outdoor climbing. You will learn:

• Correct use of climbing equipment
• Basic knots and rope manoeuvres
• Safe belaying and basic climbing technique
• Top-rope climbing and lead climbing
• Recognising and avoiding dangerous situations

ACCOMMODATION

You will be staying in a beautiful old house made of stone. With a lot of dedication the building has been transformed into cosy apartments. The place is located in a small village in the coastal region of Slovenia.

• Accommodation in rooms with shared toilets and showers
• Spacious and comfortable common room where you can meet people, play board games, watch climbing movies etc.
• Kitchen with all the facilities to prepare your meals
• Beautiful outdoor terrace and garden

CLIMBING COMMUNITY

Joining our climbing camp is a great way to meet open-minded people who have a passion for outdoors and adventure. Our goal is to make everyone feel part of the community and have a great time.

PRICE: 375 EUR/person

What is included:

• Accommodation in a shared apartment. Shared toilets and showers. (4 days / 3 nights)
• Climbing course (4 days, approx. 5 - 6 hours every day)
• Climbing gear use (harness, helmet, climbing shoes,...)
• Transfers to and from the climbing locations

​DISCLAIMER: Our climbing course is not a licensed program and it is not meant to be a substitute for proper rock climbing education. On our climbing camp you will learn basic techniques that you need to know to practise rock climbing, however, you will always climb in an organised group with a climbing instructor. Therefore, do not go climbing on your own if you do not have sufficient knowledge and experience to do so safely.

How to get here?

The village of Stepani is a bit hard to reach if you don't have a car. Contact us in advance and we will arrange a transfer for you or help you find another solution.

Fying to Slovenia?

If you are planning to fly to Slovenia, cheap flights are available to nearby airports of Trieste (TRS) and Ljubljana (LJU). Additionally you can check flight connections to Venice (VCE) and Treviso (TCE). ​

What to bring?

• ​​You will need sport clothes and good hiking shoes.
• For climbing, we recommend long sporty pants.
• Bring some extra layers for warmth (pullover, jacket, hat etc.). Even though the temperatures are usually quite warm during the day, it can get cold during the night or if days are overcast and windy. 
• You can bring your own personal climbing gear (climbing shoes, harness, helmet) if you prefer to use it instead of ours.​​
